Konvo's Message Composer is designed to ensure you send the right message to the right contact—whether or not there’s an open conversation. This guide walks you through its essential features, empowering you to communicate effectively with your customers and collaborate seamlessly with your team.

Key Features


1. Write and Send Standard Messages

  • Simply start typing your message in the composer.

  • Once you're satisfied, click the send button (bottom right) to deliver your message.

2. Use Quick Replies

  • Save frequently used messages as quick replies for instant reuse.

  • To save a message, type it out and click the "Save as quick reply" icon on the far right.

  • Access saved replies by typing "/" and selecting the desired template.

3. Send Files

  • Attach PDFs, videos, or images by clicking the 📎 icon.

  • Select your file, which will be attached to your message.

  • Click Send to deliver the file.

4. Send Audio Messages

  • Click the recording button (bottom left) to record audio.

  • Click again to stop; you can then send, re-record (🎙️), play back (▶️), or delete (❌) the audio.

5. Add Notes

  • Click the dropdown next to the active channel (e.g., WhatsApp) and select "Note."

  • The input field switches to note mode—write your note and click "Save Note."

  • Notes appear as events in the chat, visible to all agents but hidden from the customer.

6. Send Templates

  • Click the brush icon to open your support templates (marketing templates are excluded).

  • Hover to preview, click to select, and then send the template to your contact.

7. Reopen Closed Conversations

  • After 24 hours, WhatsApp closes the "customer care window," disabling free messaging.

  • The composer changes, but you can still add notes or reopen the conversation via the "open conversation" button.

  • Once reopened, you can send a free-form message or select a pre-composed template.

  • Choose the template language and click send; the message will be sent automatically once WhatsApp approves it.
