How to test your flows

Test flows in Konvo before activating. Step-by-step guide to configure tests with variables and verify messages.

Before going live with your flows you should always verify that everything works correctly to avoid errors with your customers.

When you test a flow you will get the last published version and through that you can check if changes are required. So here's a guide on how to test your flows.


Step 1: Write a message to open the chat

First send a message to the number you'll use for testing. This ensures the conversation is open and the flow can run correctly.


Step 2: Configure your test

Add your mobile number

Go to the flow you want to test, click "Test flow" and enter your mobile number in the corresponding field.

If you have variables, add them

If your flow contains variables like {{firstName}} or {{company}}, click "Add variable" and configure them. Without these values, the system cannot complete the message and although the flow activates, messages with variables won't send.


Step 3: Send the test and verify the result

Click "Send test" and check the inbox to confirm messages arrive correctly. Verify that variables have been replaced with test values.

Your flow is tested and ready to activate with confidence.

💡 Important: If you see the flow activates but no messages arrive, variables are probably missing configuration.
