Activate Hoola Notifications in 3 Simple Steps

Notifications are key to staying up-to-date with your customer interactions.

Follow this simple guide to activate Hoola notifications on your device in 3 steps.

1. Activate Hoola notifications

In the Inbox of the Hoola app, open the left menu and the notifications button will appear. Ensure it is set to "Notifications ON":

2. Enable notifications in Chrome or your preferred browser

First, we need to check that notifications for Hoola are enabled in the menu next to the URL. It should look like this:

Then we need to verify the browser settings.

  1. Open your browser settings (usually found in the main menu, represented by three dots or lines).

  2. Look for the "Privacy and security" section or a similar option.

  3. Find the settings related to website permissions

  4. Locate the "Notifications" option.

  5. Ensure that the option allowing sites to request permission to send notifications is enabled.

  6. Check the list of blocked or not allowed sites for sending notifications. If Hoola is on this list, remove it.

This generic guide should work for most modern browsers.

3. Enable notifications for your Device

Windows (11):

  1. Click on the Start button or press the Windows key.

  2. Select the Settings icon (looks like a gear).

  3. In the left panel, click on "System"

  4. Select "Notifications" in the right panel.

  5. Ensure the switch next to "Notifications" is turned on.

  6. Scroll down to the "Get notifications from these apps" section.

  7. Find your browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge) in the list. Make sure the switch next to the browser is turned on.

MacOS

  1. Click on the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

  2. Select "System Settings" from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the left panel, click on "Notifications".

  4. In the right panel, locate your browser (e.g., Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox) in the list of applications.

  5. Click on the browser name.

  6. Ensure the checkbox next to "Allow notifications" is ticked.

  7. Configure additional options according to your preferences (alert style, sound, etc.)
