WhatsApp Opt In Status on Shopify

You can see which are the contacts that have their Opt In status in WhatsApp as granted in Shopify. We can do that through Klaviyo.

Send the information from Klaviyo to Shopify

In your Klaviyo go into your Integrations tab.

Go into the Shopify integration. Here you can adjust all the settings you want for your Shopify integration.

Scroll down to the Sync Settings and select the information to be sent "To Shopify". Here you have to choose the custom properties to sync to Shopify. For this click "Select properties"

A new tab will appear where you will see all the Available properties that you can send to Shopify. Scroll down until you find WhatsAppOptinStatus. It will apear on the right save.

Just press save and it will be done!

Use the property in Shopify

In Shopify go to your Customers tab. If you go inside a customer you will see that the information will be transferred there as a metafield.

You can use this in Shopify to filter customers. For this, in your customers tab click "Add Filter"

At the end of the available filters you will see the metafields. Here you just have to select the WhatsAppOptinStatus that you want to see.

And that's it!

IMPORTANT: since we have to send the information from Klaviyo, if a customer is not linked to a Klaviyo account then we won´t be able to see it in Shopify.
