How to Connect Gorgias with Konvo

Deploy your AI directly inside Gorgias — and escalate WhatsApp conversations to your team seamlessly.

Konvo's Gorgias integration lets you deploy your AI as a full agent inside Gorgias, responding to tickets across every channel your team uses. If a customer reaches out on WhatsApp and needs a human, Konvo sends that conversation straight into Gorgias as a new ticket — right where your team already works.

What You'll Need

  • An active Gorgias account with admin access

  • Your Gorgias account name (the part before .gorgias.com in your URL)


Connecting Gorgias

Step 1: Open the Gorgias integration

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Gorgias. Enter your Gorgias account name — just the name portion of your URL. If your URL is yourcompany.gorgias.com, enter yourcompany.

Step 2: Authorize in Gorgias

Click Connect and you'll be redirected to Gorgias to log in and authorize the connection. Once you approve access, you'll be brought back to Konvo. Back in Settings → Integrations, Gorgias will show as connected.

Step 3: Verify in Gorgias

In Gorgias, go to Settings → Apps → HTTP Integration and click Manage. You should see exactly one Konvo AI integration listed.

⚠️ If you see more than one Konvo AI integration, delete the duplicates. Multiple entries cause old messages to duplicate inside Gorgias.

Step 4: Deploy the AI

Go to Deploy inside your Konvo AI configuration. Enable the Gorgias deployment option. Your AI will start responding to Gorgias tickets across all your active channels.

💡 Tip: Enable the AI across all your Gorgias channels — not just WhatsApp. One Konvo AI handles Live Chat, email, and WhatsApp together, so your team gets consistent support everywhere without managing separate systems.


What Gets Synced

Once connected, Konvo and Gorgias share conversation data in both directions. Tickets created in Gorgias are visible to your AI, and the AI's responses appear inside Gorgias as if from another team member. WhatsApp escalations from Konvo arrive as new tickets. Conversation tags are written back to each Gorgias ticket automatically.

What makes this powerful is that your team never has to leave Gorgias — they see the AI working alongside them in the same interface, on the same tickets, across every channel.


What Your AI Can Do

How Konvo AI Uses Tags in Gorgias

Konvo manages conversations using three tags. These are the foundation of your AI monitoring workflow in Gorgias — set up views based on them and you'll always know exactly what the AI is handling.

konvo_automated — Applied to every conversation the AI is actively managing. If you see this tag on a ticket, the AI is on it and no human action is needed.

konvo_unresolved — Applied when the AI transfers a conversation to a human agent. These are your escalations — tickets that need someone from your team.

konvo_resolved — Applied when the AI closes a conversation without human involvement. These tickets are done.

Recommended Gorgias views to set up:

  • AI Handling — filter by konvo_automated (conversations the AI is managing right now)

  • Needs Human Attention — filter by konvo_unresolved (your escalation queue)

  • AI Resolved — filter by konvo_resolved (closed by AI, available for review)

Setting up these three views replicates the Konvo inbox structure directly inside Gorgias, so your team always knows where to focus.


Managing Your Integration

Configure — Go to Settings → Integrations → Gorgias → Settings → Configure to toggle WhatsApp conversation syncing. When enabled, all open WhatsApp conversations are sent to Gorgias as tickets.

Disconnect — From the same settings screen, click Disconnect to remove the integration from both Konvo and Gorgias.

✅ Done! Your AI is now live inside Gorgias — handling tickets, tagging conversations, and escalating to your team when needed.
