Enable your AI to manage customer subscriptions in Recharge — handling status checks, delivery changes, and address updates automatically.

Recharge is one of the most widely used subscription management platforms for Shopify stores. Connecting it to Konvo gives your AI direct access to subscription data, so it can handle subscription requests immediately — no need to escalate routine changes to a human agent.

Step 1: Open Recharge from Shopify

In your Shopify admin, find the Recharge Subscriptions app and click on it. You’ll be taken to your Recharge dashboard.

Step 2: Create an API token

In Recharge, go to Tools and Apps → API Tokens (the last option in the section). Click to create a new token, give it a name (e.g. “Konvo”) and an email address.

Step 3: Select the required permissions

Enable all of the following permissions before saving:

💡 Tip: Select all recommended permissions now. If you skip any, specific subscription features will fail silently — and you’ll need to create an entirely new token to fix it.

Step 4: Save and copy your API secret

Click Save. Recharge will generate your API secret and display it once.

⚠️ The API secret is only shown once. Copy it immediately and save it in a secure location (password manager or secure note). If you navigate away without saving, you’ll need to create a new token from scratch.

Step 5: Connect in Konvo

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Recharge. Paste your API secret and click Connect.

Once connected, Konvo has read and write access to your Recharge subscription data. Subscription records — status, delivery schedule, shipping address, quantities, and payment details — are all available to your AI. Actions the AI takes are written back to Recharge in real time, so your team and customers always see up-to-date information.

What makes this powerful is that customers get instant subscription management in the same conversation as everything else — without logging into a portal or waiting for your support team.

Activate skills — Connecting Recharge doesn’t automatically activate subscription features. Go to Skills (article 2.3) to enable each capability, and Processes (article 2.4) for more complex subscription workflows.

Disconnect — Go to Settings → Integrations → Recharge → Settings and click Disconnect.

✅ Done! Recharge is connected — enable the subscription skills you want in Skills (article 2.3) to make them available to your AI.
