What this guide covers
This guide walks you through the four steps to get Konvo up and running: creating your account, choosing a plan, connecting your store, and connecting your communication channels.
Once these are done, you're ready to configure your AI and start handling real customer conversations.
Step 1: Create your account
Go to app.konvoai.com/signup
Fill in your details (name, email, phone, password) or click Continue with Google
Click Continue
Check your email for a verification code and enter it on the verification page
β οΈ If you don't see the code, check your spam folder.
After verification, you'll be redirected to the plan selection page.

Step 2: Choose your plan
Konvo offers three plans. All plans include the full platform and all features. The main differences are the number of agents and marketing contacts included.
For current pricing and plan details, visit konvoai.com/pricing.
How to purchase:
Select your plan and click Get Started
Choose your payment method (card or direct debit via IBAN)
Enter your company information
If you have a promotion code, enter it in the designated field
Complete payment
After payment, your account is fully activated and you can begin setup.

Step 3: Connect your eCommerce platform
This is the most important integration. Connect your store before anything else so that Konvo can sync your customers, orders, products, and shipping data. This allows your AI to help with order-related requests from day one.
Supported platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce
How to connect:
Go to Settings β Integrations
Find your platform (Shopify or WooCommerce) and click Connect
You'll be redirected to your store's admin to install the Konvo app
Approve the installation and return to Konvo
Verify the connection shows as "Connected"
The initial sync starts immediately and takes only a few moments.

β οΈ Keep your eCommerce integration active at all times. If disconnected, your AI loses access to order data.
Step 4: Connect your communication channels
Now add the channels where customers will reach you. Konvo supports multiple channels, and you can connect as many as you need.
Available channels: WhatsApp Business API, Email (Gmail, Outlook, or any provider), Instagram DMs, Live Chat (website widget), Zendesk, Gorgias
βIMPORTANT: After the integration, always use the Konvo inbox to respond to tickets, as it's the only place where you can clearly see how each conversation started (whether assigned to a human agent or AI).
For most channels, the process is simple:
Go to Settings β Integrations β Channels
Click Connect on your desired channel
Follow the prompts to grant Konvo access
Done
WhatsApp: key requirements
WhatsApp has one critical prerequisite: the phone number you connect cannot be active on any other WhatsApp account (personal app or Business app). If it is, you must delete that account first: open WhatsApp Business β Settings β Account β Delete My Account, then wait for confirmation before proceeding.
When connecting, enter your number with the country prefix (e.g. +34 for Spain, +49 for Germany). The connection goes through 360dialog (a Meta-approved Business Solution Provider) and takes about 10β15 minutes. You'll need admin access to your Facebook Business Manager.
β οΈ WhatsApp Business API approval can take 24β48 hours.
β For the full step-by-step connection guide, see Settings β Integrations β WhatsApp.
Instagram: key detail
When connecting Instagram, make sure you select the correct Facebook Page linked to your Instagram business account. After connecting, go to your Instagram DMs and click Connect on the last received message to allow messages to flow into Konvo.
Live Chat
Go to Settings β Channels β Live Chat and click Connect. That's it.
What to Explore Next
Your platform is set up. Now it's time to make your AI useful.
Configure your AI by following the π AI Configuration Overview (2.0), starting with the π Knowledge Hub (2.1)
Test your AI with common customer questions before going live
Deploy your AI on the channels you just connected
π‘ Your AI needs information to work well. Don't skip the Knowledge Hub setup, it's the foundation for everything your AI does.
Quick tips before you start
Feed your AI early. Add your website, FAQs, and policies to the Knowledge Hub right away. You don't need perfect content to start, you can refine over time.
Don't skip eCommerce integration. Order-related questions are typically 50%+ of customer inquiries. Without the integration, your AI can't help with them.
Test before going live. Always run test conversations before enabling your AI on real channels.
Monitor daily in the first weeks. Check your inbox to see how the AI performs and where it needs improvement.
Common setup issues

Email already exist
"Email already exists" error β You may have already created an accountβtry logging in instead of signing up, use the password reset option if needed, or try signing up with Google.
WhatsApp "Number already in use" error β Make sure you've fully deleted the WhatsApp Business account from your phone, then wait 5 minutes and try again.
