WhatsApp has launched Marketing Messages API with improvements for marketing message delivery.
To activate it, you just need to accept the new terms of service. This process is done once per Business Manager and applies to all associated WhatsApp Business accounts.
Option 1: From 360 Dialog (Recommended)
Step 1: Access your 360 Dialog account
Log in at: https://hub.360dialog.com/mmlite-tos
Step 2: Accept terms from the banner
You'll see a banner on your dashboard with the "Accept MM API terms" button. Click it.
Step 3: Connect your Facebook account and complete
Log in with your Facebook account and complete the terms acceptance process.
Important: This step requires the client to be an administrator of the Business Portfolio or Business Manager.
The terms accepted in this process will apply to all existing WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABAs) under the selected Business Manager. Clients with multiple Business Managers must repeat the process for each BM.
Option 2: From WhatsApp Manager
Step 1: Open WhatsApp Manager
Step 2: Accept terms from Alerts
In the "Alerts" section, click "Accept terms to get started" for Marketing Messages API.
Step 3: Complete the acceptance process
Follow the steps to sign the MM API terms. This will apply to all eligible accounts in your Business Manager.
💡 Important: You must be a Business Manager administrator to complete this process. If you have multiple Business Managers, repeat the process for each one.
Done! Marketing Messages API is now active on your WhatsApp Business account.
