Why customise your widget?

The Konvo widget is your first line of communication with customers. A professional appearance aligned with your brand generates trust and improves user experience.

By customising the design, colours, and visual elements of the widget:

  • Strengthen your brand identity: The widget integrates seamlessly with your website, creating a cohesive visual experience.

  • Increase customer trust: A professional design conveys credibility and seriousness.

  • Improve user experience: An attractive, well-designed widget invites interaction and facilitates communication.

  • More conversions: Resolve doubts instantly and convert more visitors into customers.

Step 1: Access Widgets and create a new one

Go to Settings → Widgets and click "Create widget".

Step 2: Customise style and branding

In the Appearance tab, expand "Personalise style and branding" to configure:

  1. Layout: Choose between Classic (expanded view) or Compact (minimalist with call to action)

  2. Conversation header: Select to show your brand name or agent name

  3. Primary colour: Define the colour for buttons, message bubbles, and highlighted elements

  4. Header logo: Upload your logo (PNG, JPG, or GIF)

  5. Background: Choose between solid colour, gradient, or custom image (PNG, JPG, GIF up to 2MB, recommended resolution 800x600 pixels)

  6. Header text colour: Select Black or White based on contrast with your background

Step 3: Configure the widget greeting

In "Customise your Widget's greeting", personalise the welcome message customers will see when they open the widget.

Step 4: Customise the launcher

In "Customise your launcher", configure:

  • Style: Choose between icon only or icon with label ("Chat with us")

  • Preferred icon: Select the live chat or WhatsApp icon

  • Position: Place the widget on the left or right side of the page

Step 5: Select the main channel

In the Preferences tab, choose the main communication channel:

  • Live Chat: Customers chat with you without leaving the website

  • WhatsApp: Customers are redirected to WhatsApp to continue the conversation

Also, configure where to display the widget on Desktop or mobile or both, and whether to request customers' email.

Step 6: Configure display rules and install your widget

In the Installation tab, define where and when the widget appears:

  • Where should your widget be available: Choose to show on all pages, only on specific pages, or hide on certain pages

  • Delay appearance: Add a delay in seconds before the widget appears

To finalise the Installation, you have two options:

  1. Direct installation (Shopify/WooCommerce): Click "Install" and follow the instructions for your platform.

  2. Manual installation: Copy the provided code and paste it into your website's HTML following the specific instructions.

💡 Important: Every time you make changes to the widget, you must click "Install" again for the changes to be reflected on your website. We recommend clearing browser cookies and cache to view the updates.

Your widget is now configured and ready to connect with your customers!
